‘Dragon Ball Super’ Episode 63 Spoilers and Update: Zamasu Destroys The Mafuba Jar; Traps Goku and Vegeta In The Future

Hello, The Badass Swordsman here with a new blog for you all today! Ever since I saw my very first clip of Dragon Ball, that being Trunks annihilating Frieza and King Cold, I couldn’t help but just admire Trunks! He was just so badass, not to mention an amazing swordsman! Some would even call him… The Badass Swordsman!

Ok, bad jokes aside, with Trunks’ return in Dragon Ball Super, I’ve been hoping the Goku Black Arc would extend as long as possible, just to see Trunks stay longer within the series. However, what if instead, we get to see Trunks’ in future arcs? I’m mainly referring to the Omniversal Tournament Arc, or whatever Super plans on calling it. Essentially, the Tournament the Omni King will set up and have all 12 Universes fight in, similar to the Universe 6 vs 7 Tournament.

So what purpose would Trunks have to stay and enter the Tournament? As we all should know, Trunks’ Timeline has been through some serious situations. We had Android 17 and 18 destroy and terrorize most of the Earth back in DBZ. Every Z-Fighter except for Trunks were killed before the Androids could finally be stopped. And right as it seemed like society was finally able to rebuild their beautiful world that was ruined, Goku Black arrived, killing even more people, even Trunks’ mother, Bulma. And now, Goku Black and Zamasu continue their terror, as more and more innocent lives are taken away. I’m sure we could all agree that Trunks would simply want to return to his Timeline and enjoy life with Mai and the remaining citizens that are still alive.

So what exactly am I getting at? So far I’ve given reasons why Trunks wouldn’t stay in the Main Timeline instead of why he would. Aren’t I only hurting my previous claim?

While I do see Trunks wanting to get to his future right away after Black and Zamasu are dealt with, there’s two things that could possibly change Trunks’ mind.

The first being Beerus. Unlike Goku, Bulma, and the rest of the gang, Trunks has high respect for Beerus. While most of the Z-Warriors are use to him just casually coming over for dinner and talk, Trunks sees him as what he truly is, a God. A God that he will do anything for. Trunks has gotten down on his knees, having his head touch the ground, begging that Beerus would forgive his mother for creating a machine that could ruin time.tc anime blog -'Dragon Ball Super' Episode 63 Spoilers and Update: Zamasu Destroys The Mafuba Jar; Traps Goku and Vegeta In The Future

Beerus even mentioned Trunks’ power, saying how Trunks was quite powerful. And that was before Trunks got his new transformation, at this point he’s equal or maybe even stronger than Goku or Vegeta! Imagine Beerus’ reaction to hearing this, that a new powerful warrior could be at his disposal in the Tournament. Trunks could be a real game changer if he was to enter. Especially since every one other Z-Fighter is completely outclassed when compared to Goku and Vegeta. All it would really take from Beerus to get Trunks to enter is to say how in order to repay his crimes against Gods for Time Travelling, he will have to enter the Tournament.

Now some of you may not be convinced that Trunks would just stay for the Tournament simply because Beerus told him to. So, that’s why there’s another thing that could change his mind. The Super Dragon Balls. Now, assuming that this Tournament will have the same reward as the Universe 6 vs 7 Tournament, this could be Trunks’ way to return life to normal. To return his future back to peacefulness.

Considering that Beerus probably wouldn’t have a real use for the Super Dragon Ball’s wish, it’s possible Goku can convince Beerus to give the wish to the Z-Fighters. All it would probably take is some delicious food and the loyalty and victory of Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks in the Tournament. And for all Trunks’ hard work, for all the crap he’s been through, the Z-Fighters could allow him to have wish. And with the Super Dragon Balls, Trunks could wish for more than just the lives that were taken from Goku Black and Zamasu, but also from the Androids! Future Bulma, Future Gohan, Future Vegeta, and all the Future Z-Fighters along with the citizens that were killed!

Plus, just seeing Trunks fight in the Tournament would be awesome. Imagine the fights we could see from him! One fight I think would be cool to see is Trunks vs Cabba! Vegeta’s son vs Vegeta’s trainee! Trunks joining the battle could add more fun fights that aren’t just from Goku and Vegeta.

So what do you think of my theory? Should Trunks continue to stay in Dragon Ball Super and enter the Tournament? Or should Trunks just go back to his Timeline when the Goku Black Arc is over? This has been The Badass Swordsman, thank you for reading, and goodbye!
