Bandai Namco revealed some new details for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, which is set to launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in the Americas on October 25. First up is the addition of Majin Vegeta as a playable character, sporting the extreme level of strength and stamina one would expect from this fearsome form.
There’s also a new Expert Mission multiplayer mode, which lets up to six players team up to take on huge bosses. You can see a sample of the mode, which emphasizes strategic planning to succeed, in the trailer and screens below.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 features twice as many quests as Dragon Ball Xenoverse, along with the addition of new parallel quests from the previous game. There’s also a new system that controls rare item drops, letting players hunt down certain costumes and accessories.
Players will be able to try the sequel out before it launches thanks to an upcoming open beta. The beta includes the new hub world of Conton City, which is seven times bigger than the first game’s hub. More info on the beta will be announced soon.
