In the history of manga, there are two greatest anime: Naruto and Dragon Ball Z. Let’s discover their main differences.
It’s outstanding when both of them use martial arts to against enemies
Both Naruto and Dragon Ball Z treat fighting much differently in the battles. In Dragon Ball Z, it less focuses on teamwork than one-on-one fights. Naruto focus on all about team battles. Individuals believe in each other to defeat an antagonist. The outcome of battles depends on teamwork more than the strength of an antagonist.
It’s also about forming bonds as well as how those bonds can either elevate or destroy a person.
One-on-one battles in Naruto is more effective than Dragon Ball Z. For example, Naruto vs Sasuke, This epic battle is important to the storyline because in fact, they are once team members and a battle is between two equals.
Allies and Enemies
In fact, through battles “life or death”, Goku’s friendships are forged. Goku has to convert the likes of Piccolo, Vegeta, and Majin Buu into allies while all of his opponents want to destroy the Earth.
Goku turning enemies into friends is the main focus in Dragon Ball whereas Naruto is mainly bout its befriending fellow shinobi and enemies.
However, the stakes are less “life or death” and more “battle against inequality” for the main part. In Naruto, it’s more complicated and less likely to convert Villains.
It is common that death is a major turning point in any story, especially for Naruto.
Death in Naruto is much more real than Dragon Ball Z. Characters aren’t usually revived with any reason. The stakes are high, so it makes every battle more tense. On the other hand, if a hero fails in battle, they’ll be revived with Dragon Balls.
